I have appointment at 5 am.
My wife work at convalescent. A home for elderly.
Something that she had experienced today that really awesome.
let me share what happen.
she visited her client last night. and the lady told my wife
to make her ready before 5 am. because the lady said that
she has an appointment at 5am.
4 hours later or 4:30am my wife came to this lady room
my wife change the lady cloth, put some her make up on
spray some perfume on her. so everything take about 30 minutes.
when everything completed. my wife say: " o.k where is the people that
want to pick you up. you said you have 5 o'clock appointment."
then the lady said: "yach....i have an appointment at 5 o'clock with JESUS."
with the bible open on her hand.
my wife really felt discomfort with what this lady said. she felt that this lady is a joke.
with red face on my wife , she felt that the lady lie to her.
but suddenly my wife said that she hear voice said " this lady doing the right thing"
then after the wisdom from God come upon my wife. she understood that the lady is really
doing the right thing.
something that all of us learn from this story is that we sometimes forgot to put who is our first priority.
many times when we want to meet someone we have to make an appointment first. either someone very important or not so important.
the bad habit that we have is we thing that to have appointment with Jesus not so important. to have devotion with the KING above all kings, not so important...you see i mean.
I learn from this story that we need to make an appointment with Jesus and take it seriously just like we will have appointment with the president of our company.
prayer for today:
Lord help me to put you first in my life. help me to respect you. help me to honor you. many times i feel to meet with you in prayer and in spirit not important. sorry lord, i want to do better and to have appointment with you every day. so you could review what i did yesterday then you could show me what i should do for today. i ask that your favor come upon me. thank Lord, in the name of jesus . amen.
